About Kelrad
Kelrad (formerly Radio One) is a fully licensed and insured wireless communications provider based in Norcross, Georgia. Founded in 1997 by longtime communications professional Dave Keller Sr. and his sons Steve and Dave Jr., we are a family-owned business with four decades of experience serving government agencies, public safety teams, and commercial organizations.
Who We Are
Our roots run deep in the communications industry. Before founding Kelrad, Dave Keller Sr. served more than three decades as a Corporate VP at Motorola International, where he played a significant role in expanding Motorola’s global markets. Steve and Dave Jr. also began their careers at Motorola in the early 1980s, working in technical roles that helped build their extensive knowledge of land-mobile radio systems. Today, both bring over 40 years of industry experience to our customers
Kelrad is home to a team of 14 dedicated professionals, offering more than 150 years of combined technical expertise in system engineering, consulting, installation, and service. We partner with industry leaders—including JVCKenwood, EF Johnson, Hytera, Zetron, and Telex—to deliver reliable equipment, custom solutions, and a level of service you can count on.
Our capabilities span a wide range of wireless communications solutions, including radio system engineering and design, dispatch console systems, installations, technical services, and custom software applications. Our team has also developed fleet management and vehicle-tracking software for Kenwood NEXEDGE systems, used nationwide by dealers and customers alike.
Kelrad has built a solid reputation grounded in honesty, integrity, quality, and exceptional customer service. Our work has been recognized at the national level—even featured in a full-page Kenwood advertisement highlighting our commitment to customer success. From our state-of-the-art service and repair facility in Norcross, our factory-trained technicians support radio systems of all sizes throughout Georgia and beyond.
Our Team
STEVE KELLER
President
Steve is the President and CEO of Kelrad. He founded the company in 1997 alongside his father and brother. He has over three decades of experience in the wireless communications industry. He began on the technical side and has received training in all areas of the business, specializing in engineering and radio system design. In 1992 Steve helped to develop a communications business that focuses on installation and radio communication systems, which is still thriving to this day. Through this experience he saw a need in the radio marketplace and Kelrad was created.
FUN FACT: In his spare time he loves being in the mountains, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his family.
DAVE KELLER
Vice President
Dave is the Vice President of Kelrad. He founded the company in 1997 alongside his father and brother and has over three decades of experience in the industry. He began his career on the technical side and is now proficient in sales, service management, and business/product development. He also has experience and training in engineering and radio system design. Dave brings specialized product knowledge and service skills to the Kelrad team – as well as his energy and humor light up the office.
FUN FACT: In his spare time he enjoys recording music, networking with others, and gardening.
DENNIS WOLCOTT
PROJECT MANAGER
Dennis is the Project Manager at Kelrad. He oversees all aspects of the project from design to implementation. He began his career in this industry over three decades ago and specializes in installation and system maintenance. He has experience working on the technical side, installing and repairing equipment, and troubleshooting end-user owned systems. All of this experience allows him to effectively oversee Kelrad projects. Dennis is also a founding member of the company – he is overall a huge asset to the team!
Fun Fact: In his spare time he enjoys photography, bicycling, and exploring new places.
